Glenn O’Rourke

President of Windward, Inc., is a Registered Professional Engineer with a 30-year history of innovation and success in solving problems in the fields of high-pressure hydraulics and pneumatics.

He was instrumental in the design of the gun and turret drive and stabilization system for the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank; hydro-pneumatic suspension systems for the AAAV; high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for the F-15, the F-14 and the F-111; missile launch capture control systems and various other innovations. He is the holder of several patents.

Mr. O’Rourke earned his BSME degree at Lawrence Technological University and a masters in Business at Central Michigan University.

Assembly and Testing

Windward’s staff of highly trained technicians assembles and thoroughly tests our customers’ products prior to delivery. To help assure a flawless product, our technicians are also active participants in the design review and release processes.

Our assembly and test facility includes hydraulic test capability of 50 gpm @ 3,500 psig and 4 gpm @ 20,000 psig with computer data acquisition and control.
